Sad classical music

It is a fact that you don't always have to feel like listening to Britney Spears. Sometimes you might just want to listen to something mellow, nostalgic, just plain beautiful, and why not? Even classical.

For me, a song that fits in perfectly is Nana by Manuel de Falla. I know it is a lullaby, but it has a type of Moorish longing that speaks directly to my soul. Specially in the beautiful playing of Ana Ruth, the cello sings in a way that puts my hairs on end. It is melancholy with a comforting feeling.
