Roldan’s Duo was born in Milwaukee in the Spring of 2005. Their founders Ana Ruth Bermudez, and Rene Izquierdo are Cuban natives that studied at the “Amadeo Roldan” Conservatory of Music in Habana, Cuba, hence the duo's name in honour of the great Cuban musician.

After many years out of their homeland, these two gifted musicians found each other in Milwaukee and began a beautiful friendship giving birth to a musical collaboration inspired on their cultural identity.
