Brisas del Zulia (Breeze from Zulia)

The Venezuelan waltz has its roots in the European waltz, but it incorporates features from Venezuelan folk music. It acquired its own special rhythmic personality, combining the ternary and binary meter, keeping the traditional European harmonic structure.

Zulia is a very warm region on the border with Colombia.
