Eliseo Grenet was born in La Habana in 1897. He composed songs, "danzones", "sones", "tangos congos" and "sucu-sucu". On this Afro Cuban Lullaby, the tradition-steeped African and Spanish elements that fused the Cuban sound fall in for an intimate close up.
